All Work will have The Name of the Artist and Writer and a 4 image collage as I talk about my love and reasons for purchases and its usefulness in studying to develop ones art style.

In the Temeraire universe, one dragon breed - the Longwings - is very finicky when it comes to companions and only accepts females! A great move to add some female characters to military fiction
So far it only covers the Napoleonic period, but how about some earlier 18th century ("Yes, Captain Cook, we can land on that island again, but I'm not sure they're going to like it...") or 20th century ("I doubt those newfangled aircraft are ever going to catch on." "Well, if you look at the papers, it seems like we've been replaced...") characters?
It's not meant to be perfect, contains numerous errors, plus I could not be bothered to rub out the pencil lines and am still struggling with the centre fold. Still a really fun scribble trying out the full width of my sketchbook

Großartig! Ich liebe dieses Bild, von der ersten bis zur letzten Epoche. Der hochnäsige / ablehnende Gesichtsausdruck bei dem ersten "Kapitän", während die Lady den Drachen füttert, passt so gut. Tja, Pech gehabt, aber den Posten haben letzten Endes doch die Frauen abgeräumt. 
Was hat denn als Vorlage für das 17. Jahrhundert-Kostüm gedient? Ich halte es für sehr zweckdienlich und kriegstauglich, würde nur gern wissen, wie der Entwurf zustande gekommen ist.
Das 19. Jahrhundert sieht ja recht vertraut aus, und das 18. ist ziemlich ähnlich gehalten. Aber die fürs 20. Jahrhundert finde ich grandios! Die Vorstellung, dass die Drachenreihe bis in die heutige Zeit fortgesetzt wird, ist einfach zu schön! Ich fürchte nur, so lange wird Naomi Novik nicht schreiben.
